The Nimitz Group Founder & CEO Justin Brown Named NILE 2025 Top Lobbyist

Washington, DC — October 23, 2025 — The Nimitz Group is proud to announce that Founder and CEO Justin Brown has been named a 2025 Top Lobbyist by the National Institute for Lobbying & Ethics (NILE). NILE’s annual list recognizes 100 professionals across the country for merit-based excellence in advocacy; Brown is honored in the Small Firm category.
NILE’s Top Lobbyists program highlights practitioners who demonstrate integrity, results, and leadership through a blind, merit-based review, underscoring an industry commitment to ethical advocacy and professionalism.

In 2025, Brown helped deliver consequential wins for the veteran community, including the passage of the VSO Equal Tax Treatment (VETT) Act, which allows tax-deductible donations to federally chartered veterans service organizations. He also championed optometry workforce reforms in federal legislation to place VA optometrists on a physician-level pay framework. Brown and his team extend their advocacy through The Nimitz Report, including Nimitz Health and Nimitz Tech, which provide timely analysis that Hill staff and stakeholders rely on.
